My youngest son Jack (18) and I work together 1 day a week at the RV Park.

It’s 🤢 gross, we have to pump-out p**p tanks. Say that out loud 2x fast 🫢

The work is meh, but we still enjoy our time together chattin’ it up and taking in the scenes of the creek, trees and the RV Sites

Jack also mows the property weekly.

It’s hard to explain but he has loved mowing since I can remember. As a father it’s amazing to see a child be proud of their work. Jack comments on his “mowing lines” and how the sharpened blades make for a “great cut” 💕

We originally bought this RV Park as a Real Estate Investment, not knowing that the best ROI is the time spent teaching our kids about work, maintenance and people skills.

Fall is close and when the leaves 🍁 turn down here, it’s truly amazing.

I feel like the tractor has eyes 👀 and is staring me down ..

Owning and running an RV Park is my favorite business.
It’s peaceful.
I’m never in a hurry.
It’s like maintaining a small Town.

We have 40 Sites here and probably 60 cars that travel the camp-owned-roadways daily.

C R I S P Y and cool morning for

We covered 6.2 miles in the woods with over 737’ of elevation on our Mt Bikes.

OCP has my favorite type of trails; some roots, rocks, mud and dirt lined with tall pine trees 🌲 and just the right amount of sunshine peeking through.

Josh was the “trail boss” today, he took the lead and almost was taken out by 🦌 Deer, not 1x but 3x this morning 😂

I went over my handlebars, not on a trail but right in the parking lot 🫠

Ontario County Park is so pretty.
If you get a chance to walk/hike/bike there, take it. It’s just 15-20 minutes for our here in Bloomfield, NY.

We like our nightly walks, we covered 2 miles of walking and barely saw the whole Park! Here’s some of the highlights:
•water park, with slides and poolside cabanas
•cabins, tiny homes, a whole glamping neighborhood 😳 and air streams.. all for rent
•RC Car track
•pickleball courts, dog park, kid park, BMX track?!
•access (In/out) for tubing down the Shenandoah River

We are only in for the night, but we may need to book a week here in the Fall!
