What you need to know before you come to Vermont... short version- if you are from a county that has more than 400 cases per million of COVID-19, go to the links below. Stay safe and ride wherever you are!

We all desire to get back to a more normal life rhythm but given the health concerns we are facing we want you to be aware of some of the current mandates and recommendations for visitors coming to the area. By following the outlined protocols we will all be doing our part to shorten the cycle of this Virus and help return to normal.

If you are traveling from another state there are some protocols you need to be aware of before coming to visit us in Vermont.

* If you are from a high infection rate area there are restrictions to your travel out of state and are currently not allowed to come to Vermont without still quarantining for 2 weeks once here before engaging in activities.

Vermont is slowly but surely opening up...

If you are from a nearby state, you are welcome to visit and stay if your county has fewer than 400 cases per million. Of course, that excludes many counties in the area. We fully support a smart and healthy approach to managing this pandemic.

On July 1, the governor will offer additional guidelines to further advance the reopening process. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, check out this cool new resource for planning GRAVEL rides in the Northeast Kingdom!

Anyhow, looking forward to doing some of these routes "down the road".

Strawberries!

An update on Burke Chamber summer/fall events: Strawberry Festival - While we cannot have an actual festival per state restrictions, we are planning on selling shortcake TO GO ONLY in the West Burke park on June 26th. More details to come.
Burke Fall Festival - We hope to be able to host the festival, however, it is too early to know if it will be safe to do so or not. A final decision will be made by the Chamber Board in mid or late July. The Governor has not made any decision or issued any guidelines for fall events, but we will, of course, abide by any restrictions that may or may not be announced. Meanwhile, if you are an artist or crafter interested in having vendor space at the craft fair, you can email Chris at [email protected]. If we cancel the festival, vendor fees will be refunded 100%. Thanks for your patience and we hope to see you at the park on the 26th!
