After a year of renovation work, KT Cabin is officially open for business. I am really happy with how the house has turned out. It is unique for rentals in the area. It is a large house so it can accomodate a nice size group of people but is much nicer than the bunk houses that populate the area.

We started renting to the general public in October and have had several rentals before things quieted down when the trail system closed. We are taking reservations for ski season as well as for next years bike season.

KT Cabin is a vacation rental for social adventurers in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. The Cabin is a comfortable house that is designed to accommodate large groups of friends or families right in the village of East Burke. Four large bedrooms plus a sleeping loft provide ample accommodation for the whole crew but the heart of the house is the common room. Timbered cathedral ceilings evoke the feelings of a National Park Lodge. Whether sitting comfortably around the roaring fireplace or clustered around the large dinning table, the room is a great backdrop for you to share your stories about your day on the trails. A large kitchen allows everybody to be a cook. Don't like doing your own cooking? A short walk to town provides plenty of menu options.

Being in Vermont is all about the outdoors so this house has plenty of outdoor options. A large deck and cooking area provide space to relax and an outdoor fire pit is the perfect place to unwind after riding. There is even a sledding hill for the kids in winter. KT Cabin is owned by Tom and Claire Grimble who are avid mountain bikers, skiers and long time members of Kingdom Trails.
