Hey campers, heads up! We're heading into a red flag warning for the next few days. As of now, fires are still permitted in the campground fire pits but exercise caution and common sense. 😊 Enjoy your adventures!
I hope you find a river or lake to swim in today.

Grateful for the stunning sunsets and peaceful evenings.

As North American Indian Days wraps up, you may find yourself a little dusty from the powwow or rodeo. 🥵 Reminder that we offer $5 showers for non-guests. Get cleaned up before you hit the road home. 🚿

If you've seen the news lately, you may see that there is a little flooding around Glacier National Park. However, none of the closures have affected us and the entrances closest to Casey's are fully open. The sun is shining and the puddles around the campground are drying up. Plus, we have new concrete pads which ensure your parking spot is unaffected by the moisture.
Going to the Sun Road was closed as a safety precaution but we're hopeful they will reopen it soon ☺️ Feel free to call or email if you have specific questions about closures and access.
Bonus: the rain means the campground has puffball mushrooms! Delicious edible GIANT mushrooms.

Hey friends! Going to the Sun Road opens on Monday. 🥳

Hey friends! Going to the Sun Road opens on Monday. 🥳

🚗 Going‑to‑the‑Sun Road Opening Update
The full length of Going‑to‑the‑Sun Road is expected to open to motorized vehicles on Monday, June 22 for the 2026 summer season. Rockfalls or other natural events may delay the opening, as conditions can change quickly.

🚴 Full Length of Going-to-the-Sun Road Open to Bicyclists
Bicyclists can bike the full length of Going-to-the-Sun Road beginning today, June 18 and extending through June 21, before the road opens to vehicle traffic. As we prepare for opening, bicyclists should watch for administrative traffic beyond the vehicle closure, especially on Thursday and Friday, June 18–19.

🔔 Bicycling Safety Reminders

• Always wear a helmet

• Maintain safe speed and control

• Bicyclists must follow the same rules as motor vehicles

• Bring a headlamp for early morning or evening rides

• Never leave food unattended

• Mount and dismount e‑bikes carefully—battery weight adds 20+ lbs

• Only Class 1 pedal‑assist e‑bikes (≤750 watts) are allowed

• Carry and know how to use bear spray

• Check tire pressure and bring tools for repairs

🅿️ Parking Expectations
Visitors should only park in designated parking spaces throughout the park.

🌄 Visitor information services and the Glacier National Park Conservancy bookstore will not be available at the Logan Pass Visitor Center until June 22. Restrooms will be open. Bicyclists riding before June 22 should plan accordingly.
