The Greenwich Hotel, at 158-168 Main St., is the street’s largest and most visible landmark. But before we discuss the current building, let’s talk about the Arnold Tavern, which was on the site from 1770 until 1896.

Ah, so what's going on at the Greenwich Hotel and Lounge this weekend you say? Tonight is our second Hotel Songwriter Sessions hosted by the one and only Mark Greenwood. We have 3 wonderfully talented musicians: Malyssa BellaRosa, Lisa Markovich and Gordon Wesley Forsyth! Original music is where it's at! Come check them out!! Friday night, Jay Feinstein & The New Deal are playing but it's not just another Friday night, it's Jay's Birthday!! So we're all gonna make him sit down while the entire bar serenades the birthday song to him!! (Happy Birthday Jay!!! ###x) Then Sat night, Open mic is hosted by Matt Hartke. Happy Spring, life is just looking better and better! :)

I'm feeling like the really cold weather is gone (ah, wishful thinking I know, lol) so get out of the house and enjoy some great music!!

Tonight it's the house band of turkeys...yup...some of my wonderful music friends coming together to spread some cheer. Then tomorrow it's turkey day and the Hotel is open at 5:30pm for your family after party. Fri, it's Peter Gendron & Friends. Sat, open mic hosted by Mark Greenwood. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
