It takes a village to raise a child - even a baby eagle! The whole town of East Hampton worked together to create a safe environment for the first eagle parents to make a nest on Lake Pocotopaug. Now the two eaglets have fledged, and it’s fun to head out on the kayaks to try to spot them. They are often perched in the tall tree at the end of Spellman Point. Here’s two shots of one of the juveniles.
