Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center opened its doors to the public on Sept. 17, 1951. The Michigan Hotel Association sought to create a facility in which they could house everything needed to hold an educational conference under one roof as a sort of laboratory in hotel management. Kellogg Foundation financed the building, donating $1.4 million, as a means to provide a venue for adult education. Wit

h a land grant and an additional $500,000 from the State Board of Agriculture, Michigan State University became the site of the first Kellogg Center for Continuing Education — an important milestone in the history of MSU. Today, there are 11 Kellogg Centers throughout the U.S. Today, our full-service hotel and conference center features 160 guest rooms for your travel needs, whether for business, sporting events, pleasure, or touring campus for a future Spartan to attend the university. Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center is a part of the Culinary Services department at MSU, which is one of the largest self-operated university foodservice systems in the nation. Additionally, Culinary Services is incorporated in the Division of Student Life & Engagement (SLE) at MSU. We had a fantastic day at The Emerald Golf Course on Monday, May 11! ⛳

It was such a great opportunity to connect with longtime business partners, catch up with familiar faces and meet new ones while enjoying a beautiful day out on the green. Our amazing catering team kept everyone fueled with delicious sliders and berry crisp desserts that quickly became crowd favorites! 🍔🫐✨

Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center was pleased to host the Lansing Regional Chamber Economic Club's April Luncheon on Thursday, April 23.

The event featured remarks from MSU Athletic Director J Batt and MSU Head Football Coach Pat Fitzgerald, who offered thoughtful perspectives on the evolving landscape of college athletics and the leadership principles shaping the Spartan program.

Did you know: Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center has bike rentals available for guests to enjoy during their stay with us! 🚲

A limited number of bikes (4) are available on a first-come, first-served basis during the warm weather months (April-Sept), weather permitting. Helmets are provided and all riders must sign a waiver before checking out a bike.

Please note bikes are not available during MSU football home game weekends or graduation weekends. For additional rental options, guests can visit the MSU Bike Service Center, located on campus.

Due to maintenance, Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, including Kellogg Market, will be closed on Saturday, April 4. Building access will be limited to employees only while work is being completed. We appreciate your understanding.
