🇺🇸 Springwood Lake Camp Club – Holiday Power Reminder 🇺🇸

As we do every year around the Fourth of July, we typically experience power outages in various areas of the park due to increased electrical demand and extreme temperatures.

Over the past several years, we've made major improvements to many sections of the campground, but not every area has been upgraded yet. With the extreme heat we're experiencing and the large number of members and visitors enjoying the holiday weekend, we ask everyone to please be mindful of your power usage.

Here are a few simple ways you can help:

- Raise your A/C thermostat from around 62°F to 72°F or higher. This allows your air conditioner to cycle off instead of running continuously.

- If you're going to be away from your camper for a while, consider raising the thermostat even more.

- If you're not using an appliance or electrical item, please turn it off. Every little bit helps!

Yesterday, we had a couple of areas trip due to the extreme heat and the higher electrical load. By working together, we can help reduce the chances of additional outages and keep everyone comfortable throughout the holiday weekend.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation and hope you all have a safe, fun, and memorable Fourth of July!

*****Springwood Lot Dues Raffle*****

Springwood lot dues Raffle tickets are available. Tickets are only $10 each for a chance to win $2600 toward your 2027 lot dues.
Only 400 tickets are being sold.
All profits go toward the SLCC scholarship fund which was established as a 501c3 nonprofit for the purpose of the scholarships.
Tickets are available in the SLCC office, lot 1008 (Giles) and weekends at lot 550 (Spurgeon)

Please see the application guidelines to submit for a scholarship! We would love to have you apply.

Bring a beverage to share.

Silent auction bidding begins at 6pm Friday and ends Saturday at 7pm.

Springwood Annual auction. Saturday 7/4/26

EARLY BUYING $1-$5 tables begins at 9:00am. Nothing under a $1. Maybe 2 or 3 items for a $1. Great deals!

OUTSIDE AUCTION begins at 5:00pm.

INSIDE AUCTION in the lodge begins at 6:00pm.

SILENT AUCTION ends at 7:00pm

Money raised goes to the miniature golf fund.

Park-Wide Water Outage Notice – Wednesday, June 10 🚨
We will be repairing a 6" water line on Wednesday, June 10. At this time, we are unsure which areas of the park will be affected, so all residents should plan accordingly.
Water service will likely be unavailable for most of the day while repairs are being completed.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to restore service as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
