We hope that while most of your campers are in hibernation, you're dreaming along with us of warm campfires, lake views, and quiet mornings in the woods.

We're plugging away, getting ready for opening day, March 27, because the camping season is right around the corner, even if Phil says otherwise.

Sorry for the radio silence in updates this past weekend; Mother Nature had other plans for us.

We got around a good 18+ inches of snow here at Otter Lake, and a big shoutout to our crew, who have been turning snow banks back into roads and walkways again.

The good news is that at least the lake looks like a winter postcard.

UPDATE: The office will be closed today, Monday January 26, while we dig out and plow in the campground. We will be back in the office tommorow. We hope you all stay safe!

Due to today’s snowfall and road conditions, Otter Lake will be CLOSED today for everyone’s safety. We will still be in the office to take phone calls.

At Otter Lake Camp Resort, fishing is for everyone, from first-timers learning how to cast to seasoned anglers who love a quiet morning on the water.

Whether you’re casting a line for the very first time or you’ve been fishing for years, you can fish right from the lake shore, your private lakefront campsite, bring your own boat, or rent one of ours and head out onto the water.

No experience required. No license required, yes, no fishing is license required while you are a guest here. Just calm lake views, and a perfect excuse to slow down.

We love seeing kids light up when they catch their first fish here, or when someone makes that big catch they've been trying for their whole vacation.
