Like so many campgrounds across Pennsylvania, Mountain Vista experienced the devastating storms that swept through our state. While we are grateful our team and guests are safe and damage minimal here our hearts are heavy for our friends at campgrounds across the state that suffered and to the Landis family, who suffered an unimaginable loss.

The Pennsylvania campground community is coming together to support the Landis family following the heartbreaking loss of Pam Landis and her son, Andre.
On behalf of the Landis family, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to help ease some of the unexpected financial burdens they may face in the weeks and months ahead. Pam leaves behind her devoted husband and their two daughters, who are now facing a future forever changed.
During this incredibly difficult time, our hope is to surround the Landis family with the love, compassion, and support of the many people whose lives have been touched by this amazing family.
The Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association (PCOA) extends its deepest condolences to the Landis family and to everyone affected by this tragic loss.
