Enjoy the beauty and action Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area this summer!
Summertime and the living's easy! ☀️
Employees at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area have been busy gearing up and getting facilities ready for a busy summer season. With another beautiful summer heading our way, we want you to be the most prepared for your visit to the park!
Here are some things to remember when planning your visit:
☀️ Dingmans Falls Visitor Center open to the public from 9 am to 4:30 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from May 25 until June 9, including Memorial Day. The visitor center will be open Wednesdays through Mondays from June 10 to September 2.
☀️Park Headquarters Visitor Center will be closed for the season starting June 8th.
☀️Season passes and America the Beautiful passes will be for sale at Dingmans Falls Visitor Center during open business hours and Smithfield Beach and Milford Beach on weekends and holidays.
☀️The River Runner shuttle will be operating on Saturdays ONLY from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There are no shuttles to Raymondskill Falls or the Kittatinny Point area.
☀️Old Mine Road closed between Worthington State Forest and Millbrook Village for construction. As an active construction site, pedestrian and cyclist access is prohibited. Sites within this closure will be inaccessible, including Turtle Beach, Poxono Access, and Coppermine, Kaiser, and Van Campen Glen trailheads.
