Did you know that Cape Cod National Seashore has about 60 year-round staff and dozens more who work here during the summer in a variety of professions?

While our uniforms may look alike, each staff member has a specialized job assignment to help keep the park running smoothly year-round. Maintenance crews keep seashore facilities in tip-top shape. Scientists and technicians research ecosystems, wildlife and natural processes. Administrative staff hire, house and pay employees. Lifeguards and resource protection rangers ensure that visitors enjoy fun and safe visits. Interpretation rangers inform visitors about the park's resources and stories during walks, kayak tours and programs. Visitor use assistants collect fees that the park uses to maintain facilities. Tram drivers bring you to and from the beach.

The combined efforts of all of these folks make the seashore a special place to visit, contributing to countless visitor memories year after year.
