Some experiences are so meaningful, you want them for the next generation, too. 🌱✨

💙 For Kim Gorham, Bright Horizons runs in the family.

Three of her four children - and later, her grandson - attended our on-site center for PSECU employees. She fondly remembers the meaningful connections each teacher built with her family and how the curriculum prepared them for kindergarten and beyond.

Kaylee Cargle's Bright Horizons story started when she brought her 12-week-old son, Henry, to the Tiny Tracks Children's Center. ✨

What began as convenience turned into a support system - the teachers helped Henry hit important milestones and grow with confidence while giving Kaylee the reassurance and encouragement she needed as a new mom.

💦🔴 A Splash of STEM in K-Prep! 🔬

Our K-Prep friends turned red Solo cups and a garden hose into a fun STEM experiment! They stacked the cups into towers and sprayed them with water to see if they could knock them down.

This easy-to-set-up activity combines outdoor water play with basic physics and cause-and-effect learning. As the children built, tested, and tried again, they were thinking about force, direction, balance, and what happens when water meets their cup towers! 🧠

🌈 Step into Preschool Land and let the fun begin!

The children worked together to transform their classroom into a giant board game! They teamed up to design and build their game using crayons, markers, butcher paper, and mats.

The children also collaborated to create their own game rules and came up with the perfect name for their creation: “Preschool Land!” 💛

As they played, the children rolled dice, followed their rules, navigated challenges, and worked together to reach their goals. Through this experience, they practiced critical thinking, math skills, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, communication, cooperation, and problem-solving.

It was wonderful to see the children’s creativity, teamwork, and ideas come together to create Preschool Land! What a fun way to learn and play! 🎲

🎨 Creating a Mural Together! 🎨

Last month, the children in the Early Preschool classroom worked together to create a beautiful classroom mural! They laid a large piece of paper on the floor and explored different colors of paint while making purposeful marks.

🗣️ Language & Literacy: The children practiced using their language skills to ask for the colors they wanted and describe what they were painting.

💛 Social & Emotional: The children practiced taking turns with the paint, sharing materials, and patiently waiting for their turn.

🎨 Visual & Creative Arts: The children made their own creative choices by choosing the colors they wanted and expressing themselves through their artwork.

It was so much fun watching their ideas come together to create one special mural! 🌈✨
