Beach Haven Resort A cluster of 16 private log cabins are tucked along the northwest shore of Orcas Island since 1939.

Each cabin is equipped with a kitchen, wood stove, electric heat, deck, Weber barbecue, all linens, towels, soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters and salt and pepper. We do not offer daily housekeeping but extra supplies and new linens available at office.

In 1997 Justin and I took a leap of faith and decided to try our hand at managing Beach Haven Resort. Each year we decided to stay "one more year" and after 29 years we have decided to start a new chapter. We will focusing on more time with family and aging parents during this time. We thank all of the guests, all of our staff and the owners for an amazing chapter of our lives. Beach Haven will continue to be a place for people to come and unplug from the rest of the world and recharge with the energy of this beautiful location. It is the perfect place for sharing time there with loved ones. The guests we have come to know we'll hold a special place in our hearts. We will miss Beach Haven and we will be back but next time it will be as guests of one of the most beautiful places in the world.

We would like to officially introduce Jenny Park ~ an important member of our team. Jenny came to us after moving to the island with her family last year. She wears many hats like most of our team. She will be helping you at the office with all of your needs and will greet you with a a smile and enthusiasm. We are grateful for her help and office experience.

Foggy August morning combined with a low tide made for a mystical paddle around Freeman island. Total stillness combined with the crackling of the low tide, the foghorns of the Frieders and the banter of the kingfishers.....pure magic.
