The Sands is a super private one bedroom getaway nestled on a wooded sand dune overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. It is bordered on the North by Savage Neck Dune Preserve. The nearest neighbor is over a quarter mile to the South. Bald eagles, Blue Herons, deer, and dolphins are likely the only other visitors you will see during your stay.
The Sands is a non smoking, no pets rental that is perfect for couples or families. There is a king size bed in the master and a queen size pull-out couch in the living room. There is one full bath and an outside shower. The full kitchen is stocked with all the basics. There is a gas grill on the deck and standup paddleboards and beach chairs are provided.
You can fish from the beach or sandbars, as well as anchor your own boat inside the bar in front of the cottage. There is a public boat ramp in Cape Charles that takes about 5 minutes to get to via boat.
Rentals run Saturday to Saturday. Please message us for more information.
