I was a little disappointed with my barn quilt. I was going for a pattern that was not recommended. I wanted to use “Hen and Chicks” pattern by Missouri Star because it will go on The Eclectic Roost and is the pattern that I used on my business card and sign.

I think I should have made the inner churn dash larger. I printed the picture that Lis took and drew in what I think it needs. What do you think?

Our guild had a Barn Quilt workshop today. I would heartily recommend Barn Quilts by Liz's Barn Quilts She has 9 years experience and she even provided lunch.

I have everything ready for my guild meeting tomorrow and allowed myself some time to play.

I had found a Cheat Sheet on the Fat Quarter Shop. I was intrigued by the fact that you could make 32-2” HSTs from 2 coordinated 10” squares. I wanted to see how many different designs I could make with them.

After a while I decided to add some 2” squares and 2x4 rectangles.
