We are now accepting reservations for the 2026-2027 winter snowmobile season.

Plenty of space is available for trailers and snowmobiles. Our accommodations offer a warm and cozy retreat after a day riding trails. Our location is ideal for exploring the Eastern U.P. trail system. Prime winter weekends and peak snow dates are expected to fill quickly, so it is recommended to book early.

More snow!

A pair of systems will bring a wintry mix of precipitation to the U.P. today into tonight. A clipper will spread a mix of rain, snow, and freezing rain across the area this morning, changing to all rain from west to east as temperatures climb above freezing in the afternoon, reaching as high as the mid 50s in the west. A cold front then drops across the U.P. and brings another round of mixed precip tonight, changing to all snow towards Sunday morning. Generally expect minimal snow amounts across most of the U.P., but some spots in the Keweenaw and the east could pick up 1-3” through Sunday morning. A glaze of ice will also be possible in a few spots this morning and again tonight.

Do you remember the Blizzard Of 1978? Can you imagine a storm that is twice as bad? That is exactly what just happened in the UP of Michigan where snow totals reached 3 to 4 feet. There are snow drifts covering cars and houses in spots. This was a record snowfall for areas like Marquette, Michigan. The Sleeping Bear Dunes area picked up on 4 feet of snowfall. 28-29" of snow fell in the Tahquamenon Falls region down to Mackinaw City to Petoskey and just north of Ga***rd. Unlike the Blizzard of 1978, the forecast was very good days in advance for northern Michigan.

We just got hit with over 3 feet of snow this week ❄️
