🌲🔥 ONE MORE REASON TO CAMP 🔥🌲

All season long, we've been giving you reasons to go camping.

Some were serious.

Some were sentimental.

And quite a few were basically excuses to avoid mowing the lawn. 😄

But as we come to the end of our camping season, we think we've reached one of the best reasons of all:

❤️ Because the camping season may end, but the memories we made around the campfire come home with us.

The campfire where everyone stayed up a little too late.

The rainy afternoon spent playing games.

The neighbor who became a friend.

The kids riding their bikes around the campground.

That first cup of coffee outside on a quiet morning.

The weekend when absolutely nothing remarkable happened...

but somehow everyone still remembers it.

That's camping.

It isn't always about where you went or what activities were scheduled.

Sometimes it's simply about slowing down long enough to enjoy being together.

To everyone who camped with us this season, attended an event, danced in the Pavilion, took a dip in the pool, borrowed a book or game from the library, stopped into The Hitching Post, shared a laugh with a neighbor, or simply sat quietly around a campfire...

🚨🍦 WE HAVE A SITUATION.

The campground closes October 15.

The campers are going home.

We're getting everything ready for winter.

And apparently nobody has explained any of this to the Hershey's Ice Cream.

It's still here.

So are the chips.

And frankly, we're not spending the winter with them. 😂

Something is happening at The Hitching Post this weekend.

There may be discounts.

There may be souvenirs.

There may be perfectly innocent containers of ice cream being aggressively encouraged to find new homes.

Our final camping weekend of the 2026 season is almost here.

Indigenous Peoples’ Weekend means one more chance for fall camping, one more campfire, one more visit to The Hitching Post...

Maybe you've driven past those campers who arrive Friday afternoon, walk into an RV that's already completely set up, and thought...

Pretty much.

Seasonal camping gives you your own camping home base for the season without having to find a campsite, tow the camper, set everything up and tear it all back down every weekend.
