Memorial Day Weekend

Saturday + Sunday Plans! ** (Big vibes, good food, and at least one person who swears they “don’t even play co****le”… then wins. 😄)

🎨 Kids Crafts Please join us in front of the Rec Hall for fun crafts for the kiddos!

🏆 Corn Hole Tournament Sign-ups begin in the afternoon — bring a beverage and $5 to enter. Then meet in the field and let’s see who takes home the glory (and the bragging rights).

🎶 Live Music: CROSSROADS After the tournament… dance the night away with live music from Crossroads!

🎟️ Tickets available at The Hitching Post 💵 $10 fee for all visitors on event days

🥞 Pancake Breakfast - Our seasonal campers are hosting a delicious breakfast at White Tail Hollow Pavilion.

Ever try planning a family trip where everyone wants a different vacation… at the exact same time?

Good news: Cold River Campground is basically Switzerland. Neutral territory. Everyone wins. 😄🏕️

Here’s how it goes:

You’ve got “The Adventurer.”
Wants to hike something tall, kayak something wet, and “just pop over” to Acadia like it’s a quick errand.

You’ve got “The Tourist.”
Needs Bangor, shops, food, maybe a museum, maybe a concert, maybe a donut that becomes their whole personality.

You’ve got “The Relaxer.”
Wants to do exactly two things:

1. Sit by the fire.
2. Sit by the fire… but with snacks.

You’ve got “The Kids.”
Powered entirely by marshmallows and chaos. Will sprint in circles for no reason and call it cardio.

And then there’s you—the person trying to keep the peace, hold the reservation, find the bug spray, and being referee/therapist when someone freaks out because they are letting go of their stress.
