You have your tickets for the Annual Christmas Candlelight Tour, and now need to plan your stay; Inner Banks Inn is happy to share that we still have rooms available for that weekend. The whole town gets loud and happy this Saturday for the 51st Annual Edenton Peanut Festival. Floats roll down Broad Street, the Battle of the Bands fires up in the evening, and neighbors fill Main Street to catch up on porches and sidewalks. This is a big weekend in Edenton. The 80th Chowan County Regional Fair runs September 29 through October 3 at the American Legion Fairgrounds on West Queen Street in Edenton, NC, with amusement rides, fair food, live music, pig races, and exhibits of local crafts, baked goods, and livestock. On Saturday, October 3, the Peanut Festival fills downtown with an 11 AM parade, vendors, and live music. We are looking forward to an action-packed and fun fall weekend.
