If you're planning a June trip to Edenton, hold Friday, June 19, on your calendar. The annual Juneteenth Celebration takes place down at Colonial Park, right on the waterfront, and it's one of those community gatherings that really shows what our town is about. Music, food, and stories of freedom. If you've been thinking about a visit, it's a great weekend to be here.

The Penelope Barker Suite is one of our most requested rooms. Named after the woman who organized the 1774 Edenton Tea Party, it's spacious, historically inspired, and designed for a comfortable, unhurried stay. It's a favorite for anniversaries and special weekends.
