Rainy morning thoughts.
In 2024, I started painting lobsters. I'm not sure why I chose them, as I don't eat them, but I'm in Maine, and they're easy to paint!
In 2025, I purchased a rental unit on the Midcoast. When I was thinking about the décor, I kept coming back to lobster. Lobster. Lobster.
Little Eddy was created from one of my first paintings. It dawned on me that he is a cotton candy lobster—protected and safe!
This is from chat gpt which brought a smile to my face. "Little Eddy isn’t just a lobster. He’s a rare cotton candy lobster who reminds people that different can be beautiful, and that home should feel safe, protected, and welcoming.” 🥰🩵💙🦞

Boothbay Harbor has it all — whale-watching cruises, scenic paddle routes past ghost ships, lobster feasts on private islands, and a botanical garden with giant wooden trolls. Whether you're exploring the harbor by kayak or cozying up at a seaside bistro, this coastal gem delivers classic Maine charm in every season.
