What a fantastic Saturday at the Fall River County Fair Parade!

​Mt. View Lodge #161 was proud to roll through the parade on our lodge float this past August 1st!

Joining us on the ride were Worshipful Master Mark Engle, Senior Warden Ralph McDade, Junior Warden Don Kellogg, Treasurer George Darrow, and Secretary Jay Darrow (who is also serving as Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of South Dakota!).

​We always love participating, but the best part is seeing all of our wonderful friends and neighbors who support us year after year. Thanks for cheering us on, Edgemont!

On Saturday January 3rd, 2026 a few members of Mt. View Lodge and their wives gathered for the annual Christmas Party. We enjoyed too much food and then our traditional white elephant gift exchange.

All in all it was a good night but we missed the company of a couple of long standing members that could not attend.

Mt. View Lodge #161 in Edgemont, SD, was delighted to host our monthly Community Breakfast this past Saturday, December 13th!
​We were especially proud to continue our annual tradition of giving bicycles to deserving community youth. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor and the vital assistance of the Edgemont School District, two wonderful children received the love, support, and a brand new bicycle from our community.
​This tradition embodies the spirit of giving, and the joy on their faces makes all the effort worthwhile.
