The professional tennis tournament at Edwardsville High School is scheduled for July 28 to August 4 the UTSA says, and will bring players from around the world.

Winter time is the perfect time to watch BALD EAGLES along senic Hwy 100. Chase the Mississippi River from Alton to Pere Marquette for a beautiful day trip from Edwardsville. When ice forms on the river eagles will sit on top of the ice and wait for a fish to come to them. Now that's intelligent! Bring your binoculars so you can see them up close.
