Eglin AFB Family Campground

Eglin AFB Family Campground Camping doesn’t have to be rough! Eglin’s Family Campgrounds (FAMCAMP) offer great outdoor accom A total of 45 sites are pull-through and 15 are back-in.

The park at Camp Robbins is located near Bear Creek Marina on Shambo Cove Road off Memorial Trail. The camp offers 60 sites with water, sewer and electric (50 amp, 30 amp, 110v). Each site has a concrete slab with a picnic table. The park has a bath house and laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers. An asphalt road leads in and out of the park with a gravel drive at each site. Camp Robbins also h

as 20 tent sites with water and a picnic table on each site. The park at Postl Point is located adjacent to the Outdoor Recreation Center off Flagler Road at Postl Point. The camp has 22 sites with water, cable TV and electric (30 amp, 110v). All sites are pull-through with an asphalt road in and out of the park. Each site has grass parking and a picnic table.

INCLEMENT WEATHER NOTIFICATION: 14–17 MARCH 2025.

PLEASE MONITOR THE LOCAL WEATHER AND ENSURE YOUR PHONES ARE CHARGED.

Severe weather is expected to impact Okaloosa County/Eglin AFB from 14 March, 2000 hrs to 17 March, 0800 hrs. High potential for severe thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail and damaging winds greater than or equal to 50 knots and/or 3/4 inch damaging hail. Tornadic activity is HIGHLY LIKELY on Saturday, 15 March 2025.

PREPARATION:
- Remove, store, and secure all items located on your site, to include under the RV. Please store these items inside your vehicle or RV.
- Remove awnings and hommocks.
- PLEASE MONITOR THE LOCAL WEATHER AND ENSURE YOUR PHONES ARE CHARGED.

IF A TORNADO SIREN ALARMS: EVACUATE TO THE FAMCAMP BATHROOMS AND SHELTER IN-PLACE UNTIL THE ALL CLEAR HAS BEEN GIVEN.

POSTL POINT CAMPERS:
- Due to the possibility of flooding, please ensure you have a plan. Patrons may evacuate to Lodging at their expense. Reservations may be made at the Eglin Inns at 850-882-8761.

TENT CAMPERS:
- Please ensure you have a plan and a safe place shelter.

WATER CONDITIONS:

- High rip current risk remains in effect from this evening through Monday afternoon...high surf advisory remains in effect from midnight tonight to noon 17 March 2025, 1200 hrs 1200L.
