A Brief History

The Guest House made its first appearance in Ekalaka in 1971, when an old clothing store was remodeled into a hotel. It was run by Sam and Joyce Rutledge. Around the year 2000 Scott and Denise Elmore bought the Guest House. They ran it successfully for sixteen years and made many friends before selling to Tandi and Cassidy Jesperson and Jitt Schneider.
