HISTORY MADE AGAIN TODAY! The hottest temperature ever recorded in the month of March in the U.S. occurred today in four spots. 2 of which were in Imperial County!

5 miles south of Yuma, AZ; 2 miles WNW of Martinez Lake, AZ; 6 miles SSW of Ogilby, CA; and 1 mile NE of Winterhaven, CA all saw highs of 112-degrees today

Recently at the Mid Winter Fair & Fiesta, Ed McGrew & 2 others were recognized for their contributions to our agricultural community, our fair, and the entire Imperial Valley.

Benches will be placed on the fairgrounds in their honor, recognizing the dedication and support that have helped make the fair what it is today.

El Centro surpasses the All Time Record high for March by 2°!

Today we officially passed the century mark. High temperatures reached 103° here in the valley.

Surprisingly March 18th isn't the earliest we have ever seen 100°. We missed it by 3 days, March 15th is the earliest 100° day.

And its not just us, temperatures across the entire Western United states will be breaking records, from California to Montana, down to Texas and into Arizona
