It’s with a heart full of cherished memories that Mark and I are writing this. Our truly one of a kind employee Stacy passed away on 2/2/26. He will be deeply celebrated by both Mark and I but also the people who enjoy the campground, as his legacy will continue to remain here. Stacy worked here for many years and was a wonderful person and friend. Thank you Stacy for your dedication to making the campground beautiful, your spirit will live on. Rest in peace!

This weeks employee spotlight is our awesome worker Stacy. He works hard at cleaning, restocking, mowing, and anything we ask of him! Stacy is a dedicated employee and member of our team. Here’s his answers to our questions!

What do you enjoy most about working here?

The nice people and fun atmosphere.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Watching Major League Baseball and NBA Basketball on Television and watching The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys during Football Season. And watching WWE Wrestling. Going for walks with my dg.

What's the most memorable moment you've had at Tipsinah Mounds Campground?

Getting to mow the grass and meeting wonderful people. I take pride in keeping the restrooms clean for our guests.

Everyone meet Oscar! He’s our yard maintenance man! You can find him mowing or removing yard debris!

- The thing I enjoy most about working here is the flexibility they provide us and how calm it is here.

-The things I enjoy in my free time is golfing, fishing, lake activities, watching football, hanging out with family, and hanging out with friends.

-The most memorable moment I have working here is when it rained and we still had to mow because it needed to get done.

As many of you may know, the storms in the last couple of years have not done the trees in our campground very well. Howeverer, Minnesota DNR has been working with us to fund the new trees you may see around! We are happy to see this project happen and we hope you all are too!

As some of you may know, our beloved HayRide went down 2 weeks ago. We blew a tire. NW Tire in Fergus Falls was awesome and donated all 4 tires to us in less than a week! We were able to make sure everyone was able to enjoy the fun this weekend. We love shopping local, and appreciate their kindness!
