The Elephant Butte Irrigation District is advancing a major, multi-year infrastructure improvement effort made possible through funding from the New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission. Nearly $12.9 million is being invested to upgrade critical infrastructure, improve water delivery reliability, and strengthen flood control across the Lower Rio Grande Basin.
With projects already moving into construction, EBID is making steady progress to support local farmers, protect downstream communities, and improve long-term water management.
