It's is with deep regret that we announce the closing of The Spring Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast. As of Feb 10th we will no longer be hosting guests. We thank you all for your patronage and your love of The SLH property and Innkeepers, Darci and Elise! It has been their pleasure to host you and come to think of all of our guests as friends and family.

We welcome you to vacation at our home on Lake Michigan in Elk Rapids. We are opening the rooms as a Bed & Breakfast as of Fall 2019 to those looking to retreat to a quiet, country home that happens to be downtown Elk Rapids. Our guest rooms are complete with ensuite baths, and have views and/or balconies overlooking Grand Traverse Bay, Lake Michigan and Old Mission Peninsula.
We are not actually a Lighthouse, as you can clearly see. Instead, The Spring Lighthouse is a country, family home situated on 288’ of private Lake Michigan shoreline.
‘The Spring Lighthouse’ moniker was created to both preserve history and explain the enchantment of the house. An original owner of the land was named, “Spring.” As for “Lighthouse,” each room is carefully laid out so that you have a beautiful view and tons of natural light that filters through every possible spot, including stained glass windows & artwork.
There is so much happiness in this house, you’ll be filled with light from the moment you enter. From sunlight to good energy, this is the relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of society you’ve been looking for.
