Oops… Skelli went a little off course while mowing and drove straight into the creepy doll party area! 💀🚜🚧

We gave her one simple task, and she managed to turn the lawn into a total hazard zone. She got the mower completely tangled in caution tape, narrowly missed the river, and crashed a very exclusive, very eerie doll gathering!

Thankfully, it was a close call—the doll in the red dress is safely on her bench, completely unharmed but definitely judging Skelli's driving skills. 😮💨🧸
That settles it: her landscaping privileges are officially revoked. Since she clearly thrives in chaotic, terrifying environments, we are reassignment her immediately.

We are finding her a new job over at Camp Fear Nightmare Theater! 🎭🪵⛺️ If she’s going to scare people, she might as well get paid for it instead of wrecking the yard.

It's time for the 2nd weekend of the Camp Fear & Nightmare Theater season. Do you dare step onto the grounds of Camp Fear? 🚪👻

Join us at Elkhorn Shores Campground for a full weekend of crackling firepit rentals, spooky camping, and hair-raising movies under the stars!

To keep you fueled through all the frights, we are thrilled to welcome Fuel House and Thai Food! Plus, we'll have multiple sweets and treats vendors on-site to satisfy your sweet tooth, and our friends at the Chow Waggin food truck serving up doggy treats perfect for home or the park! 🐾🦴

Here is the spine-chilling lineup for this weekend!
🚪 Gates Open: 6:00 PM (If you dare enter)
🎬 1st Movie Starts: Dusk (When the shadows lengthen)
🛍️ Boo Bazaar Haunted Vendors (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM): Open Friday & Saturday! Come support local makers, browse our multiple sweets and treats booths, and grab some incredible spooky goodies.
Bloodrush opens at 7:30 for your spine chilling terrors. You can purchase tickets from our ticket booth if you come early.

🐕 Featuring the Doggy Costume Contest: Bring your four-legged monster dressed in their Halloween best right to the Bazaar! Grab them some delicious snacks from the Chow Waggin while you check out the vendors. (Well-behaved, leashed dogs are always welcome at the Graveyard Tent Sites, Haunted Grove RV Sites, and the Large firepit area!)

✨ Friday, October 2nd: Silly Scares Night (Family-Friendly)
Bring the whole coven for a night of friendly spirits, a haunting Halloween atmosphere, and unforgettable memories under the stars.
• Movie 1: Three resurrected colonial witches cause absolute chaos after a candle is lit by a skeptic. 🕯️🔮
• Movie 2: A heartwarming, black-and-white tale of a boy genius who uses science to bring his beloved bull terrier back to life. ⚡🐕

🧟 Saturday, October 3rd: Comedy Horror Night (Thriller Night)
A slightly spookier evening for those who love a good chill down their spine mixed with plenty of laughs.
• Movie 1: An uninspired electronics salesman decides to save his ex-girlfriend, his mom, and his lazy roommate from a sudden British zombie apocalypse using a cricket bat and a local pub. 🏏🇬🇧
• Movie 2: A mismatched group of survivors navigates a post-apocalyptic wasteland, following a strict set of rules to stay alive while searching for Twinkies and a safe haven. 🚙🇺🇸

The fog is rolling in, and Camp Fear & Nightmare Theatre is OPEN TONIGHT!

However, we have a quick, important update for everyone heading out to Elkhorn Shores. Due to an unexpected family emergency, our human manager was called out of town. Because of this, a few things might run a bit differently than they have in previous seasons. Please bear with our staff tonight—they are working incredibly hard and doing their absolute best to give you a spectacularly spooky experience!

Because the boss is away, we will not have change for cash transactions tonight.

To keep things moving, please keep these structural adjustments in mind:

* Card Payments: Highly preferred and the fastest way to get through the line!

* Exact Cash Only: If you must pay with cash, you must bring the exact amount of your transaction.

Due to the rain yesterday, this morning, and the projected forecast for tonight we will not be opening Bloodrush this evening.

We've waited all year for this night and wanted nothing more than to make you scream with all your friends, but safety comes first and we're not comfortable with conditions. We appreciate your understanding.

All 2026 tickets are valid any night during the season, so keep checking back for updates & get ready for the fun to begin very soon!
