No parking lot campground here! Peaceful, calm, and space to roam, yet close to town! We have big dreams for the future, and we need your help to get there!

Located in Elkins, WV, Saylwinds is a 28-acre campground with 16 RV sites & dispersed tent camping sites... bordered by hundreds of acres of farmland, a small county airport, and Chenoweth Creek. Formerly operated as Pegasus Farm Campground, we are so fortunate to have been afforded the opportunity of owning/operating our own campground. With a lifelong love of the outdoors and adventure and down to earth personalities, we cannot wait to share this beautiful space with you. Cheers~ Liz & Toby

Reservations are now open for the 2026 season (May 15th-Oct 25th)! While the campground remains listed for sale, we will be opening our full hook-up, partial hook-up, tent sites, and bath house this season!

All reservations are final (no refunds for cancellations); however, we are happy to move your dates if something unforeseen comes up!

We operate a no office, self check-in campground. All reservations are made online. Your confirmation email has a link to your booking that tells you your assigned site. Please make yourself at home and be sure to clean up before you leave.

2026 Check-in Time: 1pm or later
2026 Check-out Time: 11am or earlier

Reservations for full hook-up sites are now open for the 2025 season (May 22nd-Nov 10th)! Saylwinds accepts online reservations only which can be made at www.saylwinds.com.

2025 Season Note: We are only opening our full hook-up sites for the 2025 season. The bathhouse will be closed, and thus we are not accepting reservations for partial hook-ups or primitive tent camping.
