As one of my prospective quests said when making a reservation, he noticed that there were glowing reports by guests but there was one very ugly review. He figured it was from someone just unhappy with life. So TRUE. The wife, after communicating with me a dozen times, failed to ask if I had TV. I don't nor did the website indicate TV. The husband was very unpleasant with this discovery so the wife decided to go all over the house, into my private areas and into the kitchen where I had just finished breakfast for 8 people. She was rude to the friend who was helping me clean the rooms. I was
not there at that time so the lady called me and yelled at me on the phone and requested a refund of her $50. She had reserved 4 nights. I thought about the situation for several weeks and after discovering that her husband had used the bathroom, and the bed must have had a suitcase on it, I decided not to refund the$50.00 just on principal. Us innkeepers have to have at least one of these stories each year to share and hopefully be able to laugh at later.
