As many of you know we have been blessed with exceptional support from the great folks in Ellerbe, and from other communities- near and far. This support has resulted in the restaurant being at full or almost full capacity most days now (Which we are thankful for!). However, this has taken a toll on the electric system as our equipment and power supply attempts to keep up with demand/usage (power failure). That, coupled with the lack of kitchen space to store and prepare the quality food we strive to provide to our community in a timely, efficient manner has made it painfully clear that this current set-up is not conducive to the growth we envision.
God sends us struggles to *Change our direction *Built our character *Bring us closer to him
From the very beginning we knew we would eventually house a restaurant in the Inn using the Inn's previous commercial kitchen space. We did not think it would be this soon! After consulting with the local building authorities we have concluded that restoring the Inn's spacious, commercial kitchen is the most appropriate course of action to remedy the issues we are having, while simultaneously ensuring our ability to expand to provide a better experience to our patrons.
So, after much prayer the Lord is clearly showing us it is time to change our direction. We must close the Spring House at this time and focus our time and energy into this EXCITING new project which will add much value to your dining experience.
We will begin work on the new space beginning Monday, April 3rd- Hence, the last day the Spring House will be operational is Sunday, April 2nd.
We are excited to begin and we'll be working around the clock to complete this project and pray for your continued support throughout this process. Great things to come! God bless you all!
