The historic inn offers individually decorated Victorian era rooms where you can truly relax and unwind in comfort. Enjoy a stroll through nature, read a book on one of the front porch rocking chairs, or stay inside and take advantage of the pool table and many board games. Have an RV or camper? We offer 30 and 50 amp sites with water, sewer and electric included. WiFi and cable are available for long term guests. The tranquil view from room #5 at the secluded Ellerbe Springs Resort. In the far left view sits the historic McAskill House (est. 1880). We are currently restoring it. Thank you to Witherspoon Heating & Cooling for the professional job you did on this historic home! On the far right is the Camp Henning Campground - Richardson’s Thermal Control Industries did an amazing, professional, top-notch job with the electric needs. Thank you!

Nothing better than a brownie a la mode with homemade pumpkin pie ice cream from The Berry Patch! The pumpkin pie is my favorite but you can’t go wrong with any of their homemade flavors!

Seven years old Jessica...Before owning The Ellerbe Springs Resort…she loved kitties & was a playground entrepreneur, selling bracelets on the playground & spreading God’s word preaching during recess with her miniature Bible. Ellerbe Springs - A perfect match for us- God, animals & entrepreneurship!

Visitors often ask “Which room has the best view?” I reply, “All the rooms have gorgeous views!” As I redecorate ”Hummingbird Way- RM 9 today, I’m distracted by the family of geese among the greenery and wait for a deer or two to make my day! Ellerbe Springs- Simply Inspirational

As a history buff (Suset), I so thoroughly appreciate these old photos as I often wonder about all the people and all the happenings which these grounds witnessed for over 100 years. As soon as you walk onto the property you understand, you FEEL, how unique and majestic this environment is. Several families before us embraced the challenge of being stewards of this special place- It IS a Blessing but also an incredible responsibility of grand magnitude. Our family has been here nearly a year and I'm still in awe of it's history and quiet, inspirational, awe-provoking beauty. This feeling leaves me in tears of joy and gratitude at least twice per week- still....lol.... I always wanted to be part of something greater than myself- I found it here in Ellerbe at Ellerbe Springs.
***Thank you Rankin Museum of American Heritage for preserving the history of this gem of an American Small Town and thank you Richmond County Historical Society for sharing these items publicly so that we may become more connected, more invested and more inspired by our town.
