GUESS WHAT?!? It is time for our reopening!!! 🥳 We are accepting reservations for the rest of the year! We are really hoping the worst of Covid19 is behind us. Know that we are using all best practices when cleaning the properties. We also encourage any visitors to continue social distancing and being mindful when out and about. As you know we are experiencing trying times in our country. With that in mind Gilmer County (the county in which North Georgia Glamping exists) has issued a shelter in place order that goes into effect tomorrow (March 25) at 12:01 a.m. The order will last until April 7 at 11:59 p.m. The order states that only “essential business” will remain open and unfortunately we are deemed “nonessential”. The news is difficult as we are a small business that loves hosting guests from around the state and country, but we also understand the immediacy with which action needs to be taken. We do hope and believe that this is not “Good-Bye” but “See You Later”.

Somehow I missed that it was a few days ago. This sweet boy deserves all of the love in the world! He protects the chickens and goats from things like coyotes, stray dogs, and raccoons (Max actually killed a raccoon last year 😳). He also helps keep bears away— our neighbor saw one last week! Max barked like crazy the night the bear visited the area. As big as his bark is as big as he is (120lbs), he is so gentle with people. He LOVVVEEEESSS getting his ears rubbed, it’s a must every morning. He also really loved treats (he can shake and sit for them, don’t let him fool you). He’s just the sweetest boy all around. **visit our stories to see Max AS A PUPPY 😍🥰😍**
