Oak Bowery Lodge #81 Ellijay, Georgia

Oak Bowery Lodge #81 Ellijay, Georgia Regular Communication 1st Tuesday and 3rd Friday at 7:30 p.m. The lodge moved to its first permanent building in January 2006.

The lodge got its name from the fact that the members originally met under a
spreading Oak tree for many years. When the American Civil War broke out the lodge never actually closed,
it remained open during the duration of the war.
