We know many of you have been looking forward to a beautiful fall weekend in the North Georgia mountains, especially with the Georgia Apple Festival happening! 🍎

And while Mother Nature may have a different plan for some of our outdoor adventures this weekend, that doesn't mean the memories have to stop.

Sometimes the best mountain moments happen when we slow down. A cozy blanket, a good movie, a family game night, laughter around the dinner table, or simply enjoying the sound of rain from the comfort of your cabin.

A Little Weather Heads-Up! 🌧️

The National Weather Service has issued Flood and High Wind Watches for our area this weekend, October 10–11. Heavy rain and gusty winds are expected, so we encourage everyone to take a few extra precautions:

🍁 Use caution when traveling mountain roads.

🍁 Stay away from rising creeks, rivers, and flooded areas.

🍁 Enjoy outdoor amenities only when conditions are safe.

🍁 Keep an eye on local weather updates and alerts.

Our Mountain Oasis team is here if you need assistance with your cabin during your stay. Here is a link for weather updates https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=34.6509671&lon=-84.3965588

The weather may change the plans, but it doesn't have to change the memories. ❤️

Stay cozy, stay safe, and enjoy your mountain getaway!

🐾 Apple Arts in Downtown Ellijay - pet-friendly and free to attend!

🚗 Festival traffic gets busy, so plan extra time, arrive early and follow posted parking and shuttle signs.

Some mornings, you just follow the sound of the river.

Down the path.
Through the trees.
Past everything that feels busy.

Until it’s just you, the mountains, and the water moving by.

No schedule. No rush. No place you need to be.

Just a little time by the river…
and a reminder of why you came to the mountains in the first place.

Come find your Mountain Oasis.
