After a very successful day picking out finishes… We made it safely home from our roadtrip. We paused in Beaver Dam, WI to visit the Being a side hustle peony farmer w/ it was so inspiring to see their BEAUTIFUL farm. Then we caffeinated up at before we made the trek home. Can’t wait to share our material selections with you ❤️

Being a side hustle peony farmer w/ Wheels 2 Fields Flower Farm it was so inspiring to see their BEAUTIFUL farm. Then we caffeinated up at Beauty and the Bean Coffee Shop and Salon before we made the trek home. Can’t wait to share our material selections with you ❤️

The view from one of our trail cameras has me dreaming and praying that by next Memorial Day we’ll be spending it on the screened porch.

Today, we respectfully and gratefully remember the men and women (and their families) who gave everything so moments like this with our family are possible. 🇺🇸

Help us put the finishing touches on the smaller cabin!

We’re finalizing the structural layout for our cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin. Designed to be a peaceful retreat for quiet reflection, reconnecting, and a little much-needed R&R for couples or small families.

Tucked farther back from the lake and surrounded by woods, this cabin is all about slowing down and enjoying nature. 🌲☕ The two porches are quickly becoming one of our favorite features, and we can already imagine peaceful mornings with coffee and relaxing evenings listening to the sounds of the forest.

Taking a break from our cabin posts to share something amazing! Jeremiah Deguire (my husband) has the opportunity of a lifetime! We are so proud of him. Imagine learning to scuba dive AFTER BEING PARALYZED!

The 2026 National Park Service Submerged Resources Center - Wounded Veterans In Parks, USS Arizona Project is officially underway.

Veterans from St. Louis, North Carolina, Arizona, and Colorado, just arrived in HAWAII for a week of operations that will generate valuable information for the National Park Service and the scientific community🇺🇸.

On Memorial Day May 25, visitors can watch a live dive of the USS Arizona battleship at 10 am HST. The Pearl Harbor dive team will be joined by Navy divers, members of the National Park Service Submerged Resource Center, and participants from the Wounded Warrior Project.

Whether you are in Wisconsin, Missouri or across the world, Please join us in praying for all involved and wish them a successful mission. ❤️
