As we near the end of November, the temperatures are finally dropping, as we head into the Christmas season. I am busy putting away fall decorations and decorating for Christmas. It's been a mild November in Indiana, and thankfully, a busy month at The Plum House. I was happy to host three students of the Palmer Institute, an orthotic school located here in Elwood, for 11 days. It was fun to have guests for an extended stay, as it gave me a chance to get to know them a little better than my short-terms guests. On their final night, I hosted dinner for them, serving stuffed pork tenderloin with apricot glaze, asparagus tips, orange carrots, creamy potato soup and crème brûlée. If your visit to Elwood involves an extended stay, please consider The Plum House and ask for details for a reduced rate. Also, if you're going to be in the area during the holiday season, please make your reservations to be my guest at The Plum House, Elwood's place to stay.
Thank you.
