Veterans On The Lake Resort

What an honor today has been!

We were truly humbled to be invited to Iowa to accept this incredible award.

Myself, Brian, and Julianne had the privilege of attending the PVA Iowa Chapter’s Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet and bringing this very special award back home to the resort. 🇺🇸

We are beyond grateful to be part of a community that believes in our mission and stands beside us in serving our Veterans.

Thank you, PVA. See you all next year ❤️🇺🇸

Welcome home Sgt. James Mondati. We are proud to honor you and your service.

Sgt. James Mondati is back in Minnesota today, after dying on the Bataan Peninsula in 1942. He graduated from Ely, and enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Forces. Police will lead a procession down Sheridan Street at 4pm. Then, a military funeral tomorrow. The public is invited. His nephew called it a homecoming celebration. See more, at 5.
