Ever wondered where we got our name? This is the "star" in Star Hill! 💫☄️✨
This meteorite was recovered from where the first tee box is on The Lakes course. That is also how it is believe that the main lake was formed - meteor crater!

Native American lore also spoke of falling stars in this area for hundreds of years and when the golf course was built we knew we had to keep that beautiful legacy alive!

This meteorite is displayed at the back of the pro shop to the right of the patio doors! 💫

Thanks to our guests and friends for checking on us after yesterday’s fire on our block. We are thankful that we did not have any damage to The Sand Bar, Emerald Isle; however, our heartfelt 💓thoughts go out to two of our neighbors who suffered complete losses and a few others that had damage.
