🌲 And just like that… Season #6 is a wrap!
Another summer at Lake Emily Resort has come and gone, and once again, it was the people who filled this place who made it such a memorable season.
Every year, a theme stands and 2026’s was:
🎣 Sunrise fishing trips and evenings casting from the dock
🐸 So many kiddos exploring the shoreline, catching frogs, minnows, baby turtles, and whatever else they could find
🏍️ ATV & SxS groups making Lake Emily their home base for a weekend or a week of adventure
🔥 Campfires, cookouts, happy hours, potlucks, and fish fries shared with family and friends
🌅 Anniversaries, honeymoons, LOTS of birthdays, a few cancer survivors, and countless reasons to slow down and enjoy time together
🏕️ Familiar faces returning for another summer (with 95% rebooking!) and new guests becoming part of the Lake Emily Resort community
Every season brings something a little different, but one thing stays the same: our guests are what make this place special.
It’s the kids racing down to the beach barefoot, the fishing stories shared around the campfire, ice cream for breakfast, and happy hours, neighbors becoming friends, groups returning year after year, and all the little moments in between. Those are the things that make a summer at Lake Emily Resort what it is.
Before we know it, we’ll be back at it — getting the docks in, opening up the resort, and watching another summer unfold all over again. ☀️🎣
And next summer is a special one… Lake Emily Resort celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2027! 🎉 We have more to share on that soon, so stay tuned!
Thank you to everyone who stayed with us, returned year after year, sent a friend our way, supported our family-owned and operated resort, started a new tradition, or simply spent a few days making memories here. We’re grateful to be part of your summers, and we look forward to welcoming you back.
