The drywallers have come and gone… and somehow I still ended up doing drywall work. 😭

It’s time to hang wallpaper and paint, but there’s microcement around the shower entrance that needs covered before we can paint. 🤦‍♀️

My day “off” from my W2 pharmacist job looked a little something like this:

• trip to Sherwin Williams
• pit stop at the liquor store for my favorite bottle of tequila 😂
• home to grab supplies, then off to the cabin
• paint swatches of sample colors for the entryway accent wall + bedroom color drenching
• lay floor coverings to protect the fresh hardwood floors from our friends at (more to come on these 😍)
• sand the microcement down as much as possible
• lay drywall mud over the microcement around the shower room entry
• rush home, pick up the kids, get showered and ready, then head out to celebrate our friends’ kids getting married

Whew. That last one really makes me feel old to say. 😅

And this was my day off. 😂
