time away from it all. THE CREEKSIDE INN at Sizerville was purchased in September 2011 by Scott and Marty Finch of Prosperity, PA. Like his father before him, Scott has brought his family to the area for hunting, fishing and recreation for generations. Since our motel opened its doors this fall, we’ve adopted the community of Emporium, PA as part of our family. It's a great place to vacation, relax, and get away from it all. Other motels may offer similar amenities, but ours is nestled in the pines, alongside an award-winning State Park, stream, and has a personal touch. THE CREEKSIDE INN at Sizerville Services:

There are many great restaurants located in downtown Emporium (6 minutes from the motel), Port Allegany (23 min.) and the surrounding area, but when they are not open, feel free to bring your own groceries. Every room is equipped with a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.

A first-of-its-kind cycling destination is coming to the PA Wilds!

Wild Elk Gravel is a new regional gravel-cycling route network designed to showcase the unmatched natural landscapes, outdoor recreation opportunities, and vibrant rural communities at the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds.

Centered in Cameron County, the network expands into Potter, Clinton, Clearfield, and Elk Counties, threading through Elk, Susquehannock, and Moshannon State Forests. This is the only gravel destination in the Eastern United States where more than 1,500 wild elk roam freely across vast public lands.

Developed by David Landis of V2V Trails in partnership with Cameron County, North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning & Development Commission, the PA Wilds, Elk State Forest, and the Pennsylvania Environmental Council, this project maps and markets existing public roads and rail trails to create a world-class outdoor recreation experience for residents and visitors alike.
