Our weekly Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) hands-on activities are in full swing this summer! Recent projects have included installing a water temperature monitoring station on the North Platte, exploring rangeland ecosystems and identifying plants and animal species, and installing game cameras on natural springs to monitor how wildlife and livestock interact and use these essential resources.

We also had the opportunity to host the Saratoga and Encampment K-6 grade students through the local Conservation District Summer Camp, where students met with ranchers and learned about wildlife migration and the importance of broad scale landscape stewardship across the North Platte River Valley.
