Surfhouse FAQ
We are open for guests, and so are most businesses around us! But here is the answer to some questions we often get before people book.
*Are Beaches Open?*
YES! Facemasks are required when using the trails or stairs down to the sand, but the beaches are open for surfing, swimming, and sun bathing! Please, remember your facemasks, because that is what is helping keep our beaches open.

*Are Restaurants Open?*
YES! Most if not all restaurants in Leucadia are open for take out, and outdoor dining where possible.

*Are Shops Open?*
YES! Most shops are still open, but with limited capacity inside the store at a time. Again, you have to wear a facemask when entering stores, and please follow the rules posted at each store. They may vary between stores, so please be aware, and be respectful.

REMEMBER: what guests of Surfhouse love to enjoy when visiting Encinitas, are the same things that residents love to enjoy. Please follow the rules and regulations, and we all can continue to enjoy this town we love.

Leucadia 101 Mainstreet relies on grants, income from events, and the generosity of the community in order to support local businesses and ensure the ongoing vitality of the 101 corridor in Leucadia. We’re not gonna lie to you: COVID-19 has eliminated opportunities for grants (for now) as municipalities grapple with their own challenges, and our beloved annual events like Taste of Leucadia, Summer Fun on the 101 and LeucadiART Walk will not be the same in 2020 as they have been in past years.

However, ever scrappy, we are bringing you a different way to celebrate the beginning of summer, support our local businesses, and enjoy some awesome summer tunes. Presenting LeucadiAID 2020: "Keep Small Strong"
