Firewood users who receive permission from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission may cut and collect any fallen dead timber in specific areas at Enders Reservoir State Recreation Area until March 30, 2026.

Free permits can be obtained by going to the Enders Reservoir SRA office at 73122 Avenue 338.

Firewood harvest aids in Game and Parks’ management goals on targeted areas of the property that are annually subject to excessive down timber from cottonwoods, willows and other hardwoods.

Following the close of November rifle season, Enders SRA's modern facilities are now shut down for the season. The nightly rates are $25 for electrical camping and $10 for primitive camping. Please note that a vehicle park entry permit is mandatory for all vehicles. For further inquiries, please call the park office at 308-394-5118.

With the conclusion of the season and the onset of cooler temperatures, the shower will be closed for the season. Nevertheless, the modern restroom will remain open throughout rifle season. The camping rate at electrical sites has been adjusted to $25 per night.
