We make no apologies for having no TV’s, phones or modern conveniences in our beautiful rooms ( other than Wi-Fi) and we totally encourage you to wander the house, use the grounds, swim in the clean cool lake, use the kayaks and the canoe, and sit by the fire pit while roasting marshmallows in the evening. Curl up and watch TV or read beside the huge stone fireplace in our Great Room ( we call it the Log Room ) or out in the gazebo - the ‘Summer House’ ( A nod to the Bunker Hill pools wall less structure called The ‘Summer House’ back in our hometown ), take a walk in the woods, go soak your weary bones in the hot tub, or maybe go to am old fashioned Drive-In theater down in Bangor only a half an hour south. On your way, stop by our friend Barbara's country store (B&W’s) for a bite to eat with her delightful old fashioned lunch counter, and where she sells homemade everything... but you’ll have full access to our grill, an extra refrigerator to use, and all the kitchen tools needed to put a meal together here if you want to. Visit the wonderful farmers market in downtown Lincoln during the summer, shop at Mardens year round for incredible and one-of-a-kind deals, or sip yummy coffee at Tim Hortons outside café. You can go people watching up at the Lincoln town gazebo and take photos of the gigantic loon.... you can go golfing at Barnes Brook golf course in the summer, and cross country skiing there in the winter. Or, you can also choose to go downhill skiing or tubing at Mount Jefferson in nearby -Lee and rent all your equipment and get an all-day lift ticket for less than an half day lift ticket without rentals elsewhere at bigger mountains, yet still have just as much fun.
