We spent part of the gorgeous day yesterday at the ribbon cutting for the new mountain bike trails in Peninsula State Park!

There are levels of difficulty and all trails loop back to parking lot 5, which can be accessed on Highland Road. This is just a short drive or bike ride from your stay with us at Lodgings at Pioneer Lane.

Guests can rent bikes near the Park entrance in Fish Creek or are welcome bring their own and store them in the garage on our property during their stay.

Had a wonderful breakfast at Zero Sum Door County in Sister Bay - Door County, Wisconsin! Everything was delicious, and it was such a great start to the day!

A frequent stop for us - Cultured! We are so lucky to have this gem just a short drive (or a bike ride!) away from us here at the Lodgings. The breakfast sammy is a classic that we always enjoy, but our underrated fav is the veggie bahn mi!

These rockstars are also finalists for the Best Bakery category of the James Beard Awards, alongside only four other bakeries in the country. A well deserved accolade for this awesome establishment!

This is our favorite time of year! The County starts to feel alive again - businesses are opening for the season, there are a few more visitors around town, and we get to come out of our winter hibernation and enjoy this beautiful place that we live.
