We have not shared much on Huyck’s Hideaway St Ignace lately.

But, same as the cabin, we are always working on improving each location 🙌🏻

We want you to have a clean, comfortable place with great amenities to spend your vacation in the Upper Peninsula!!

Fun fact: Did you know that this house was built the same year as the Mackinac Bridge? 🌉 😲

It used to previously reside in downtown St Ignace and be known as the “chicken coop” because of the slanted roof.

This location has been in the Huyck family for over 35 years!

We have been hosting this location since 2021.

This location is most popular for a pet friendly spot within 10 minutes of the ferry docks to travel to Mackinac Island 🦋

We have a brand new TV going in the living room soon, a queen sleeper sofa, being ordered for the living area, and a new master bedroom TV arriving in a few days.

Everything is all clean and ready for the season!

Video walk-through with all the wonderful updates at the cabin. We have had fun!

Still needs one more coat of paint on the exterior with some window trim, but very happy with how it’s coming along ✨🙌🏻

Prep work for the Epoufette Cabin is underway 🤩 new paint and window trim coming soon 🙌🏻  a ginormous thank you too Alan Huyck- it’s only been on our agenda for years now but we are so excited to make it happen!

New couches,rugs, linen blinds (coming soon), stovetop burners, blankets, end tables (coming soon)- we have sooo much planned to continue improving the cabin for you ☺️🙌🏻

We have been working up here as often as we can to get everything ready for you for this season, along with Samantha, our wonderful friend to help with turnaround cleaning.

Reminder that this is the tan cabin next door to the original cabin that my father in law rents just in the summertime. ☺️ Normally the family’s hunting cabin.

Sauna in the backyard and pool table in the basement- sleeps 11!! Between here and the cabin next door we can sleep 19 (maybe more with air mattresses)
