It’s been awhile since I’ve updated all the improvements at Stacy's Sandhills Stay. One of the biggest projects was the new kitchen! This was a five year project and dream that finally came true for us. After the prior residents did their damage, we knew we had our work cut out for us. The kitchen was always a point of contention. But, brother in law Terry Schwimmer spent years planning and preparing. It took awhile but we finally got there! We are so happy with how it turned out! Thanks, Terry!

Hello, from Stacy's Sandhills Stay! WE HAVE AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE!!

We are proud to announce that we will be opening up our second Airbnb home...THE MARTELL ROAD RETREAT! 🏡 Martell is located just 15 minutes south of Lincoln, Nebraska. So, if you are in Lincoln or surrounding area and would like a nice, peaceful and quiet place to stay just outside of the city, we would love to host you! Our Martell home is quite spacious with the ability to sleep 10+ people!

We will officially begin booking stays on the Airbnb website after Thanksgiving. Dates will be ready for booking starting December 1st. Feel free to message us if you are interested in securing any dates and we can save them for you! 📅

A little history...This home was the home of our late mother Linda Baker Black and our step father Monte Black. It is a very special place for us as we have many memories there. Just like the Ericson house, we wanted to restore it and share it with others AND just like our Ericson house, it has been a LOT of work but also a labor of love. We have spent the last 6 months cleaning, renovating and remodeling to make this a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Before and after photos will be posted towards the end of this month as we put the finishing touches on this lovely place. We just finished pouring a brand new beautiful patio and have posted a video if you would like to watch our patio dreams coming true! We hope our guests will enjoy this new outdoor space and the peaceful surroundings. 🌳
